Delivery Information

All our spirits are packed in eco-friendly, sustainable cardboard packaging which can withstand drops and knocks to virtually eliminate breakages during delivery.

Sadly the costs of picking, packaging, fuel surcharges and shipping have increased to the point where we are no longer able to offer free delivery for orders under £50.

However, standard delivery is free across mainland UK for orders over £50, and smaller orders will only incur a fixed delivery charge of £6.95. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery.

Express shipping is charged at a fixed price of £12.95 for delivery within the UK and orders will be sent by either Royal Mail 24 hour tracked service or APC next day delivery, depending on order weight. Please allow 1-2 working days for delivery.

We aim to process weekday orders placed before 2pm on the same day. Orders after this time will be fulfilled the next working day.

International shipping is currently unavailable.

All alcohol deliveries will require a signature and packages cannot be left outside your designated delivery address. Delivery services are not guaranteed and Winchester Distillery cannot accept any responsibility for delivery delays, breakages or losses once the items have left us.

Introducing our Winchester 'Round Table' Gin, a distinctive dry gin that was launched on World Gin Day 2017 at the iconic Great Hall in Winchester. This special gin pays homage to our home city and draws inspiration from the legendary King Arthur's Round Table, which is prominently displayed in the hall.

Crafted with an elaborate blend of 25 botanicals, each carefully chosen to reflect the ingredients used in medieval food and medicine—one for each knight seated at King Arthur's table. The spirit of King Arthur himself is embodied in the robust presence of juniper at the heart of this gin, anchoring the complex flavor profile.

Our 'Round Table' Gin is rich and layered, offering a unique taste experience with great depth of flavor. The subtle herbal nuances and the secret blend of botanicals contribute to a gin that is not just a drink, but a journey through history with each sip.

For an exceptionally rich and aromatic G&T, mix this gin with Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic. Garnish with sprigs of rosemary and thyme and a wheel of lemon to enhance the herbal notes and add a refreshing citrus twist. Nose: A fantastic nose that bursts forth from the glass with notes of chamomile and honeysuckle with honey and a gentle, sweet spice.
Palate: A complex gin with a lovely interplay of all of the ingredients. There are floral hay notes, along with cinnamon and nutmeg, followed by citrus.
Finish: Crunchy vegetal notes – green and fresh – that work well with lingering notes of juniper.
Comments: A lovely all-rounder with an excellent character and a “something for everyone” approach.

I took a bottle of Winchester Gin and another very specialist Gin from another source out to friends of mine in Holland. A week or so later they sent me a photo of a box of Winchester Gin that they had ordered online. I guess it hit the spot as they are aficionados of fine spirits. A fine gin bettered in my opinion only by your gunpowder gin. Well done.

Simply the best

We enjoy a G&T, Alison & I , & have tried many different brands over the years. We even attended a gin tasting evening earlier this summer, which was an interesting experience, & an opportunity to try some gins that are not always readily available on the high street. However, we are firmly of the opinion that this one, Winchester dry gin, is the best in the business, & by a comfortable margin. It is utterly distinctive & once sampled, cannot be confused or mistaken for anything else. It's not the cheapest, but every mouthful is a treat - brilliant !

A Legend of a Gin!

This is simply the best gin money can buy.A fitting tribute to medieval Winchester and the legendary Kings Arthur and Alfred. It truly is something special with the most spectacular aromatic botanticals that with one sniff whisk you back to the middle ages, there is no need for any tonic it is pure nectar. Magic.

excellent and very drinkable dry gin

I bought this out of curiosity and local loyalty but am really impressed by the quality of this gin.

It is very drinkable, distinct but subtle and with a really nice aftertaste. I have tried a great deal of gins and find most gimmicky or unmemorable. Winchester is neither it is excellent and I am about to order a case!
